For seagrasses, living life underwater comes with a lot of unique challenges, not the least of which is pollination. This is especially true when you consider the fact that their flowers are both ephemeral and borne submerged. Figuring out the means by which seagrasses reproduce is important to their conversation and restoration, but was largely unknown until about a decade ago.
