Garden Dreams Come True

February 24, 2015

Our 2015 gardening plans are becoming reality. Started in on germinating early season veggies and wildflowers. I am especially excited by all of the New Jersey tea (Ceanothus americanus) seeds. After last year's failed attempt with this species I am attempting a new method of soaking the seeds in boiling water. The apartment was built in the 1920's and is quite drafty. Hopefully by using some old aquarium lights as well as a string of Christmas lights the temperature will stay at a comfortable level. Stay tuned for updates!
